Performance 

Maximising athlete potential is one of the key strategic aims outlined in our five-year strategy, Navigating the future. Be it club racing and training, or elite level competition, we strive to support and guide everyone along their own journey in the sport. Sailing can accommodate people of all ages and abilities and be considered a sport for life. 

Our performance programmes form youth and junior pathways, providing Northern Irish sailors with the opportunity to develop in competitive sailing on the international stage. We are funded by the Sport Northern Ireland and the RYANI coaching team maintains the highest standards possible for the sailors in the region. 

Several of our sailors have gone on to represent their Nation in the Olympic Games and/or pursued a career within the sport demonstrating long term development as a critical factor in everyone we do.
